We invite individuals, development agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses to join us in supporting the Digital Scout Program. Your contributions, whether financial, in-kind, or through the provision of expertise, will play a crucial role in empowering underserved communities, bridging the digital divide, and accelerating Ethiopia's digital transformation. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable digital future for all Ethiopians.

Individuals:
  • Cash Contributions: Individuals can make direct financial donations to support the program's operational costs, training materials, and stipends for digital scouts.
  • In-Kind Donations: Individuals can donate used but functional laptops, tablets, or smartphones to be distributed to scouts or community digital hubs.
  • Volunteer Time: Individuals with relevant skills (e.g., IT, education, business) can volunteer their time to mentor scouts, conduct training sessions, or assist with program administration.
Development Agencies:
  • Grant Funding: Development agencies can provide substantial financial support to fund program activities, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Technical Expertise: Agencies can offer technical expertise in areas such as program design, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building.
  • Advocacy and Policy Support: Agencies can advocate for policies that support the growth of the digital economy and promote digital inclusion.
Non-Profit Organizations:
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Non-profits can collaborate with the program to leverage their existing networks, resources, and expertise.
  • In-Kind Contributions: Non-profits can donate software licenses, training materials, or office space to support program activities.
  • Volunteer Mobilization: Non-profits can mobilize their volunteers to support various aspects of the program, such as recruitment, training, and community outreach.
Business Enterprises:
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives: Businesses can integrate support for the program into their CSR initiatives, providing financial or in-kind contributions.
